Artist Statement CHIKICHIKÁ

Chikichiká is a visual observer for whom photography becomes a way to preserve moments of silence and light in a moving world.

Originally from Eastern Europe, Chiki Chiká now lives in Barcelona, travelling across Europe and exploring how space, architecture, and everyday scenes merge into new forms of beauty. Often – from an unusual angle that shifts perception and invites the viewer to see the familiar anew.

The focus is on details often overlooked: reflections, textures, lines, the geometry of forms and light, and fleeting human silhouettes.

Within these fragments arises a sense of something both new and familiar – transient, shifting, yet deeply authentic.
